Dr. Vijith K V is the Managing Director and Chief Physician of Dr. K. V. Vijayan Institute of Ayurveda Medical Science Private Limited. He is a highly accomplished and experienced Ayurvedic physician specialised in Neurology, and his expertise, knowledge, and experience make him a highly sought-after professional in the Ayurvedic industry, earning the respect and admiration of his peers and patients alike.

Dr. Vijith has developed a unique treatment protocol that integrates traditional and customized Ayurvedic treatment with allied health sciences such As Physiotherapy, Psychology, Audiology/Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Yoga, and Meditation for better results and Successful Rehabilitation.
He chose Ayurveda as his way forward, because Ayurveda is a complete medical system which perceives that, ultimately, all intelligence and wisdom flows from one Absolute source (Paramatma). Health manifests by the grace of the Absolute, acting through the laws of Nature (Prakriti). Ayurveda helps Nature by promoting harmony between the individual and Nature by living a life of balance according to her laws. Ayurveda is considered as “The Wisdom of Life.” Ayurveda was practiced in Indian region more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.”
Dr. Vijith is born and brought up in the Mezhathur village in Palakkad District of Kerala State, India is well known for its traditional Ayurvedic treatments, renowned Ayurveda Physicians, writers, and social reformers. He comes from a family of traditional Ayurvedic practitioners in Mezhathur village and has extensive experience in treating Neurological, Neurodegenerative, Neuropsychiatric, and Neuro Parenchymal disorders, with a patient count of over 5000. His focus includes Parkinson's Disease, Parkinsonism, Typical & Atypical Parkinson’s, Cerebral & Cerebellar Ataxias, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Motor Neuron Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Dystonia, Alzheimer's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular dystrophies, Stroke, Paralysis, among others.
Dr. Vijith holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from the University of Calicut in Kerala, India. He has participated in various national and international seminars and done remarkable presentations.
He is also the founder of Mitra AyurSpa, a wellness division of the Dr. K. V. Vijayan Institute of Ayurveda Medical Science Private Limited, which offers a wide range of spa services and wellness programs. Additionally, he is the Managing Partner of M/s. Kevees Pharmaceuticals, an GMP and ISO certified Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturing unit that produces 450 classical products and 40 patent medicines.
